This Fashion Week, the FF Team was excited to attend the Hayley Elsaesser x My Little Pony debut at Milk Studios!
If you haven't heard of this Toronto-based designer yet, you may have seen her quirky-fun designs on celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.
We absolutely loved her commitment to cultural and body diversity at her show, as well as the
Bright Colors and Bold Prints
Elsaesser's tribute to the My Little Pony era was spot on. The Déjà Moon collection had us feeling nostalgic for our awesomely 90s tween years. We longed for a time when hot pink bell bottoms were legit and Lisa Frank accessories and glittery Caboodles were two of life's only absolutes.
Back then, the prints were bolder, the clothes were slightly baggier, and the fashion was more reckless. We're oh so happy to see the best parts of the 90s make a comeback.
